What sources are used for writing the blogs?

The blogs are written based on specialized knowledge within Celtic WebMerchant.
This knowledge has been built up through years of experience with historical clothing, equipment, and material culture.

In writing, we use, among other things:

• existing publications from our own library
• historical and archaeological insights
• expertise of our staff
  

The blogs are intended for explanation and inspiration.
They are not intended as academic publications.

Therefore, blogs contain:

• no footnotes
• no complete source references
  

When information is based on well-known standard works or general research, this can be mentioned in the blog.
The blogs always remain focused on applicable and understandable explanations.
