What are discounts?
Discounts are price reductions on an order. You receive these discounts when you meet certain conditions. There are two types of discounts:
- Automatic discounts: These are calculated by the system automatically.
- Manual discounts: You enter these yourself using a code.
What automatic discounts are available?
You don’t need to enter a code for these discounts. Examples at Celtic WebMerchant include:
- Seasonal promotions: For example, 10% off a specific collection.
- Free shipping: This applies when you reach a certain order amount.
- Bulk discount: This applies when you buy multiple products at once.
As soon as you meet the requirements, you’ll see the lower price directly in your cart or at checkout.
What are the rules for combining discounts?
It’s not possible to combine different discounts. This is for the following reasons:
- You can only use one type of discount per order.
- Products that are already on sale do not receive additional discounts from other promotions.
- If multiple discounts are possible, the system will automatically choose the highest discount for you.
Where can I find the applied discount?
The discount is clearly shown in the following places:
- In your shopping cart.
- On the payment page (checkout).
- On the order confirmation you receive by email.
