Why does Celtic WebMerchant require a weapons permit in addition to age verification if you live in Denmark?
Do you live in Denmark and have you ordered a sharp or semi-sharp bladed weapon (like a sword or dagger), a neck knife, or a throwing axe? According to Danish law (Knivloven), these items fall under a specific category. While owning these items is allowed, you are legally required to have a valid weapons permit, known as a Våbentilladelse.
Our shipping procedure
To make sure your order arrives safely and legally, we follow this process:
- Mandatory check: We require a copy or scan of your Danish weapons permit before we ship your order.
- No permit, no shipping: If you can't provide this permit, unfortunately we can't process your order.
- Risk of confiscation: Without the proper documentation, your package is at high risk of being seized and destroyed by the Danish police. Any costs incurred are your own responsibility.
How do you submit your permit?
You can send a clear photo or scan of your permit to our customer service, including your order number. Once our specialists have checked your documents, your package will be released for shipping right away.
