How to write a good product review?
To write a good product review that truly helps others and gets approved by us, it's important to focus on your personal experience with the physical product.
Here are the main guidelines for a strong review at Celtic WebMerchant:
What should a good review include?
- Focus on the product: Describe your concrete experience with the physical item itself.
- Support your opinion: Explain why you find something good or less good; insufficiently supported content may be rejected.
- Be realistic: Evaluate the product based on a realistic price-quality ratio.
- Correct use: Describe how the product performs for the intended use it was designed for.
What should you avoid?
- No service complaints: Do not use the review for comments about delivery, customer service, or external parties; this does not belong in a product review.
- No incidental errors: Did you receive a product with a one-time manufacturing error? Report this directly to us as a warranty claim instead of writing a review about it, as this is not representative of the product type as a whole.
- Factual accuracy: Ensure your information is correct; reviews with misleading or demonstrably incorrect information will not be posted.
- No inappropriate language: Keep the review clean and avoid offensive or purely subjective expressions.
Important to know
- Manual review: It may take a few working days before your review is visible, as we manually check all submissions based on our policy.
- Not a complaint channel: A review is intended for other customers. If you have a complaint or wish to claim a warranty, you must report this directly to us via the official channels, as we do not respond to information in reviews.
