Are repair costs reimbursed if I had this done myself?

No, repair costs are not reimbursed if you have had this done yourself without our prior consent.

It is important to consider the following rules at Celtic WebMerchant:

  • Warranty void: Your right to warranty is completely void if you repair or modify a product yourself without our explicit written consent.
  • No reimbursement afterwards: Since we can no longer guarantee the integrity of the construction or material once the product has been altered, we do not reimburse costs for repairs carried out on your own initiative.
  • Exception outside the EU: For customers outside the European Union, we sometimes offer a tailored solution, where reimbursement for local repair is possible in consultation to avoid high shipping costs. However, this must always be agreed upon in advance with us.

Our advice: Have you discovered a defect? Stop using the product immediately and contact us with photos and an explanation of the situation. We will then determine in consultation what the best solution is, such as an official repair, replacement, or a refund.
