What happens if I accidentally make multiple payments?
In rare cases, a payment might be processed twice, for example due to a technical issue or accidentally confirming the transaction again. Don’t worry—this will always be resolved.

If Celtic WebMerchant detects a double payment, the extra amount will be automatically refunded. This always happens through the same payment method you used for your order.
What can you do?
Do you see a double charge on your bank statement? Take the following steps:
- Contact Celtic WebMerchant customer service.
- Always include your order number.
- The staff will check the payments right away in the system.
When will the money be back in your account?
The refund is processed through Shopify Payments. Please keep the following timeframes in mind:
- Processing usually takes a few business days.
- The exact speed depends on your bank or the payment method you used (such as credit card or iDEAL).
