Is the invoice adjusted in the case of a partial refund?
No. The original invoice in your account will not be changed after a partial refund.
Here’s why:
- System settings: Our system does not automatically update an invoice that has already been created. The invoice will still show the amount from the original order.
- Administration: An invoice is an official document that is tied to the order.
What can you do?
- Private customers: You’ll receive an email from us. This email will state the amount that has been refunded to you. This serves as your proof of the refund.
- Business customers: Do you need an official credit invoice for your company’s bookkeeping? Please contact customer service. We can manually create and send this invoice for you.
