I placed an order as a private customer but want the invoice in my company’s name. Can this be changed?
No. It's not possible to change a personal order to a business order after it's been placed.
Here’s why:
- Automatic invoice: The invoice is created right away using the information you provide when placing your order. Our system can't change these details on the invoice afterward.
- Tax regulations: The VAT rules are different for businesses and individuals. According to tax authority rules, invoices can't just be changed after the fact.
What can you do? If your order hasn't been packed in our warehouse yet, follow these steps:
- Contact customer service right away.
- Ask if we can cancel your order.
- If the cancellation goes through, you'll get your money back.
- Then place a new order, and this time enter your company name and VAT identification number at checkout.
If your order is already being processed in our logistics system, it can no longer be stopped or changed.
