Can I return an order at the pickup point?
Yes, that is possible. Pickup points often also function as drop-off points for returns. However, there are two ways you can handle this, depending on how you arrange the shipping label.
Choosing your own shipping method
You can choose to create a return label yourself with a courier of your choice (such as PostNL, DHL, UPS, or your local national postal service).
- Your choice: In this case, you have complete freedom to decide which pickup point you go to. You simply choose a carrier that has a drop-off point near you.
- Costs: You pay the cost of the label directly to the chosen courier.
Purchasing a return label through us
You can also choose to purchase a return label through Celtic WebMerchant. This is often cheaper and easier.
- Check the carrier: When you receive a label through us, it is tied to a specific delivery service.
- Finding a drop-off point: In that case, you need to check which pickup points the respective carrier is active at. For example, a DHL label can only be dropped off at an official DHL point, and not at a service point that only accepts UPS packages.
Important tips for returning at a pickup point
- Request a shipping receipt when returning with your own label: This is essential. When you hand over the product at the pickup point, you will receive a receipt with a tracking code. Keep this safe until we have confirmed the receipt of your return. Without this proof, you cannot get a refund from the delivery service you chose in case of loss during transport.
- Packaging: Ensure the product is packed securely and safely, preferably in the original shipping box. Clearly place the label over the old shipping label to avoid confusion with the delivery service.
Dimensions: Note that some smaller pickup points (such as parcel lockers) have size restrictions. For very large items, such as spears or long swords, you often need to go to a larger, staffed service point.
