My tracking link does not show a pickup point address?
It may happen that the general tracking link you receive from us only indicates that the package is "ready for pickup at a collection point," without mentioning the exact location or address. This is because this information only becomes fully visible in the system of the local courier.
How to find the correct address?
In the tracking environment of the international carrier, you often see an option to "click through to the international shipment" or to the status with the "local partner."
- Find the local tracking code: On the page of the international carrier, there is often a second code mentioned, for example under the name 'Delivery Partner Number', 'Local Tracking ID' or 'Postal Service Number'.
- Visit the website of the local courier: Copy this code and enter it on the tracking page of the delivery service in your own country (for example, the website of Royal Mail, USPS, DHL, or the national postal service).
- View the 'Parcelshop' information: The local website usually provides detailed information. Here you will find the specific address of the parcel shop (the collection point) and the opening hours.
Why is this necessary? Once a package crosses the border, the local carrier takes control. They determine to which point the package goes if you are not at home. The information on their own website is therefore always the most current and specific.
Tip: Have you found the local code but still don't see an address? Then also check the paper notification (the missed delivery note) in your mailbox or the most recent email you received from the local delivery service. The address is almost always mentioned there.
