What does Celtic WebMerchant do with sustainability when packaging the products?
At Celtic WebMerchant, we believe it is important that your order arrives not only safely but also in an environmentally conscious manner. Therefore, we make deliberate choices in the materials we use for each shipment.
Our materials
When packaging your product, we use only 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper or cardboard sourced from FSC-certified forests. Additionally, we directly reuse a large portion of the incoming packaging material. By giving this material a second life without first undergoing a new recycling process, we significantly save on energy and resources.
How can you contribute?
We invite you to reuse the material after receipt or separate it properly. This way, we complete the circle together:
- Cardboard: The boxes are excellent for reuse, for example, to send returns to us or other webshops. Want to dispose of it? Then do so with the old paper.
- Plastic cushions, clothing bags, and tape: This material belongs with the plastic waste. Tip: Puncture the plastic air cushions with a needle for a significant volume reduction in your trash can.
- Jewelry packaging: Our paper envelopes for small items often have a plastic inner layer for extra protection. Remove this layer after use so you can dispose of the paper and plastic separately.
By consciously handling the packaging of your product, we contribute together to a more sustainable future for our hobby and the world around us.
