What is the difference between return, damage/non-conformity, and warranty?

Return

Return means that you send the product back because it is not what you expected after purchase.

This can be, for example:

  • You don't want to keep the product
  • The product is disappointing
  • It looks different than in the photo
  • The size doesn't fit
  • The finish is disappointing

Damage / non-conformity

This means that the product is damaged or does not meet your expectations.
The cause can be a manufacturing defect or transport.

Examples:

  • A part is loose
  • The product was delivered damaged
  • The product has a manufacturing defect
  • The measurements of a garment do not match the size chart

Warranty

Warranty means that the product proves to be defective during use.
