What is the difference between return, damage/non-conformity, and warranty?
Return
Return means that you send the product back because it is not what you expected after purchase.
This can be, for example:
- You don't want to keep the product
- The product is disappointing
- It looks different than in the photo
- The size doesn't fit
- The finish is disappointing
Damage / non-conformity
This means that the product is damaged or does not meet your expectations.
The cause can be a manufacturing defect or transport.
Examples:
- A part is loose
- The product was delivered damaged
- The product has a manufacturing defect
- The measurements of a garment do not match the size chart
Warranty
Warranty means that the product proves to be defective during use.
Example:
- A hairline crack in a sword blade during use
