What should I do if my payment gets stuck during checkout?

It can be frustrating if a payment gets stuck or the page stops loading. Follow these steps to check if your order went through and to avoid double payments:

Step 1: Be patient 
Sometimes processing a transaction takes a little longer. Wait at least 2 to 3 minutes before taking any further action.

  • Important: Do not refresh the page or click the payment button multiple times. This can result in a double charge.

Step 2: Check your email 
Look in your inbox (and spam folder) to see if you received an order confirmation from Celtic WebMerchant. If you received it, your order was placed successfully and you don't need to do anything else.

Step 3: Check your bank account 
See if the amount has been deducted from your account. Sometimes the payment goes through even if you didn't see a confirmation screen on the website.

Step 4: Try again 
If you haven't received a confirmation and no money has been deducted, you can try again:

  • Completely close your browser and start a new session.
  • If possible, use a different browser or device.
  • Try a different payment method if the problem continues.

Helpful tip 
After a failed attempt, you will always automatically receive an email from us. Use the link in that email to safely complete your payment.
