I only received part of my shipment, why are some packages taking longer to arrive?

When your order is packed in multiple boxes, you will receive a separate tracking code for each box. It is common for these packages not to arrive at the same time.

This can be due to the following reasons:

  • Different sorting lines: In the large sorting centers of the delivery service, packages are distributed over different belts. As a result, one package may catch an earlier truck than another package.
  • Different depots: Sometimes a package is accidentally sent to another regional depot. This is usually corrected within 24 hours but does cause a one-day delay.
  • Dimensions: Large or heavy packages (such as spears or tents) are often processed manually instead of via the automatic sorting belt. This process takes longer, causing an unusual package to often arrive one or two business days later than the standard boxes.
  • Multiple couriers: During busy periods, it can even happen that two different couriers from the same delivery service drive in your street, with one delivering the first part and the other later delivering the second part of your order.

What should I do?

We advise waiting two business days after the first package has been delivered. Usually, the rest of your order will be delivered during that period. You can always track the status of the missing parts via the specific tracking codes in your live tracking overview.

If the remaining packages have not been delivered after two business days and the tracking does not provide a clear update, please contact the delivery service (faster) or us, so we can find out where the remaining boxes are.
