I received an email that my package is on its way. What does that mean?

Once your order leaves our warehouse, it is handed over to the carrier. The status "Your package is on its way" is the first official update you receive after the package has been physically scanned by the delivery service.

What happens at this moment?

Your package has received the first scan at the sorting center or with the delivery service driver. This means that your order is now officially in the carrier's network and on its way to the delivery address. From this moment, you can usually track the shipment accurately via the Track & Trace link you received from us.

Why didn't I receive this email?

It may happen that you do not receive this specific update by email. This is usually due to one of the following reasons:

  • Carrier: At this moment, we only send this automatic status update for shipments sent via UPS, FedEx, or GLS. For shipments with DPD, DHL, or PostNL, you will not receive this specific intermediate step by email, but you can of course see the progress on the carrier's Track & Trace page.

  • Spam filter: It happens that automatic messages end up in the junk email (spam) folder. Check this folder if you are missing the email.

Delay in information provision

It is possible that you receive the email later than the moment the carrier performed the first scan. There is sometimes a delay in the digital connection between the carrier's system and the backend of our web store.

Note: The information on the carrier's direct Track & Trace page is always the most up-to-date. If the email arrives later, the status on the delivery service's website is leading for the expected delivery time.
