I received an email that I missed a Delivery Attempt. What does that mean?
It may happen that the delivery person was at your door, but the package could not be delivered. The status "Delivery Attempt Missed" means that the carrier offered the shipment, but no one was present to receive it. You will receive an email from us about this.
What happens now?
No worries, your order is still on its way to you. In most cases, the courier will make a new delivery attempt on the next business day. Sometimes the package is taken directly to a pickup point (such as a UPS Access Point) after the first attempt, so you can collect it at your convenience.
Important: Only for UPS shipments
Currently, we only send this specific email update for shipments sent with UPS. Are you using another carrier? Then you will not receive this status by email from us, but you will find the information and instructions about a missed delivery on the Track & Trace page of the respective carrier, or you may receive this email directly from the carrier itself.
Order in multiple packages
Did you place a large order? Please note that it may have been shipped in multiple packages.
It is possible that the packages will be delivered at different times.
If you receive a notification of a missed delivery attempt for one package, it is possible that the remaining packages will still be offered that same day (or later).
On the carrier's Track & Trace page, you can see exactly how many parcels your shipment consists of and the status of each package.
Do you have questions about the delivery time?
For the most up-to-date information on the next delivery moment or changing the delivery location, it is best to contact the carrier directly. They have the most recent data from the driver and the local sorting center.
Tip: Keep your Track & Trace number handy when contacting the carrier for quick processing.
Delay in information provision
It is possible that you will receive this email some time after the delivery person actually came to your door. There is sometimes a delay in the digital connection between the carrier's system (such as UPS) and our store's backend. The systems exchange data at intervals, which can cause the automatic email to be triggered later.
Note: The information on the carrier's direct Track & Trace page is always the most current. If you receive the email at a time when the delivery attempt was long ago, we recommend that you directly consult the Track & Trace link for the current location of your package or the status of a next delivery attempt.
