Why did I receive an email about a refund even though I didn’t cancel my order?

If you receive a message about a refund without canceling your order yourself, it’s due to a stock error in the warehouse. This means the product is no longer available at Celtic WebMerchant.

In this situation, the following rules apply:

  • Stock discrepancy: There’s a difference between the inventory in the system and the actual stock in the warehouse. The product was not sent to another customer.
  • Longer delivery time: Even for products with a longer delivery time, it’s possible that the item ends up being unavailable.
  • Refund: Celtic WebMerchant will always refund the amount you paid for the missing product to your account.

Will I receive compensation for the stock discrepancy?

Whether you receive an extra discount code depends on the situation:

  • Part of your order is canceled: You’ll receive a refund for the product. In addition, you’ll get a discount code for free shipping. With this code, you can choose another product without paying extra shipping costs.
  • Your entire order is canceled: You won’t receive a discount code for free shipping. This is because the shipping costs you paid for the original order will be fully refunded.
